peaceful break in kula exceeded expectations. loved the pleasant room, breathtaking sunset view, and comfy beds. restaurant and staff were exceptional.
Noisy repairs disturbed sleep.

The location of this lodge is simply stunning, with breathtaking views of both coasts and a magnificent garden to explore. the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure your stay is enjoyable. the lodge offers a charming shop and a restaurant with incredible vistas.
The lodge's closing time was misleading and inconvenienced guests who were unaware beforehand.

We had a delightful stay at the Lodge. The location was perfect for exploring the Road to Hana and the mountains. The room was cozy and provided a nice change of pace from the usual resort experience. We especially enjoyed the breakfast, which was delicious and a great way to start our day.

We felt like we got great value for our money with a cozy room and a stunning view from the balcony. The location was perfect, close to Haleakala, and the staff treated us with kindness and flexibility.
Food for breakfast could have been more diverse with a wider variety of tropical fruits and local specialties.

We loved the proximity to Haleakala and the convenience of having a restaurant and market on-site. the view from the outdoor tables was amazing, and we highly recommend requesting a good table. the staff were friendly, even though they seemed a bit overworked. We were able to check in early, which was a bonus. the garden was magnificent, and the tables going down the mountainside offered incredible panoramas. the facilities and amenities were perfect for our backpacking adventure.
We felt right at home and had no complaints whatsoever.

Located near Volcano National Park with a convenient gift store. Restaurant staff, including John the pianist and chef, were outstanding. A great dining experience.

I must say, I got great value for my money at this lodge. The room was pleasant and comfortable, with a glorious view of the sunset from the garden below. The staff were friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs.
The breakfast experience could have been improved by offering a wider variety of options.

We had a great experience at this lodge during our recent stay. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist us with any questions or concerns. The outdoor terraced restaurant was a beautiful spot to enjoy breakfast, despite some minor drawbacks. The staff there was friendly and made our morning meals enjoyable. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff member was welcoming and offered helpful suggestions. The view from the front desk area was simply amazing.
Would recommend this hotel.

The location of the lodge was ideal for exploring the surrounding areas, such as Hana Highway and the mountains, making it a convenient choice for sightseeing. the staff were friendly and welcoming, offering assistance and answering questions. the view from the restaurant was breathtaking, allowing guests to enjoy the stunning panoramas while having breakfast. the private lanai in the room provided a nice outdoor space to relax.
The website stated that the lodge was open until 9 pm, but it actually closed at 3 pm, causing some inconvenience, especially for a late dinner option.
